"I told my wife I was visiting my sick grandmother. (I had to get out of visiting my in-laws...) She found out I was lying like a rug. But the punishment was worth it. Next time I'll just tell the truth because I thoroughly enjoyed myself and the guys. It was a great mass, a great time, and a great chili competition. By the way, Steve Michels was robbed in that competition! Long live Chili Diablo! (Another note: I do know that I have to work on that whole "lying to my wife" thing...)
