August 1, 2019The Altar Server Team has created a newsletter that will be printed and distributed to the altar servers every two months.
The newsletter contains the following sections:- News.
- General Information: Details about the parish.
- Letter: A member of the Altar Server Team writes a letter every two months.
- Liturgical Term: An item related to the Mass will be highlighted in each issue. i.e. chasuble, purificator, etc.
- A phrase from the Magisterium of the Church directed to altar servers, especially from the popes.
- Formation: A topic related to the altar servers that will be highlighted in each issue and will help them to know more about the Catholic faith.
- Meet the Altar Servers: A short survey with biographical information on two altar servers every issue.
- Upcoming Events.
- A quote from the Scriptures.
- Prayer: A different prayer at each issue. i.e. The Creed, the Gloria, etc.
- A game, which is going to help them remember some elements present in each issue of the newsletter. i.e. crossword, word search, etc.
