March 7, 2021St. Joseph’s candidates prepared to be received fully into the Catholic Church during the Rite Call to Continuing Conversion during the 9 a.m. Mass on March 7.
The rite, part of the process of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, allows those preparing to enter the Church fully at Eastertime, along with support from sponsors, to commit before the assembly to choose freely to follow Christ and become his disciple.
Those entering in the adult process are Jonathan Kendall and Cayci Packer (both pictured). Candidates Lexi Bolke, a college freshman at Illinois State University and Hillary Gallagher are temporarily continuing the RCIA journey at parishes in central Illinois and Florida, respectively.
