March 1, 2022St. Joseph Catholic Church will be hosting a Holy Hour for Vocations on Saturday, March 19th immediately following the 5:00 PM Mass. Join us in prayer for an increase in vocations to the priesthood and to celebrate Mundelein Seminary’s 100 years in forming parish priests. Seminary staff will be bringing the beautiful historic monstrance that was a gift to Cardinal Mundelein from Pope Pious XI. This monstrance was used at the 1926 International Eucharistic Congress held in Chicago. Seminarians will also be present to answer questions and share their vocation stories. This will be a great opportunity to come together in Eucharistic Adoration and to learn about the vital mission of Mundelein Seminary in forming future parish priests. The need for parish priests is greater than ever.
