Seminarian shares his gift of music with the teens

On Sunday evening Robert Lamorena, a seminarian from Mundelein, joined the high school youth group to share his gift of music and talk about his journey to the seminary and about building a personal relationship with Jesus.

He talked about how he feels God’s love when listening to music, from Lizzo to Adele. He had the teens close their eyes while he sang “Make You Feel My Love” by Adele (originally Bob Dylan), and to imagine God singing that song to them.

He challenged them to listen for God speaking to them in the lyrics of the songs they listen to, and to write those words on their hearts.
