St. Joseph Food Pantry Update

This year, the St. Joseph Food Pantry served 23,000 guests and provided 770,000 pounds of food, benefiting approximately 80,000 Lake County residents—a 24% increase from last year. While we spent around $280,000 to support our mission, contributions totaled $260,000, a 14% decrease; however, thanks to our partnership with the Northern Illinois Food Bank, every $1 donated purchases $8 worth of food. To continue meeting the growing needs of food-insecure families, we are seeking additional volunteers and financial support.
