HOW IT WORKS
Unlike most gifts, which are spent on immediate needs, an endowment fund is permanent. When you make a gift to an endowment, the gift is invested, and a portion of the earnings is distributed annually to meet the needs of the ministry. Since only a portion of the earnings can be spent in any given year, the fund has the potential to continue to grow over time. In this way, your legacy will have the capacity to bear everlasting fruit.
We use the Education Endowment Fund for a variety of education and faith formation activities, including:
a) Financial aid for students attending St.Joseph Catholic school who are in need
b) Speakers for adult faith formation
c) Christ Renews his Parish Adult Retreats
d) Deacon Formation Program
e) Called & Gifted lay ministry formation
f) Tuition for children of volunteer catechists in the Religious Education Program
