St. Joseph Church is pleased to announce that it is creating a new ministry devoted to the support Eucharistic Adoration. This step is in recognition of the benefits of this important devotion. Members of this ministry will assist in conducting adoration services, create communications pertaining to Eucharistic Adoration and help in the development and planning of special events related to Eucharistic Adoration. Anyone interested in joining this ministry should contact Larry Gundrum at: [email protected].
Eucharistic Adoration is held each Thursday of the month from 3:00 to 4:00 PM. On the third Thursday of the month the hours of adoration are extended to 7:00 PM to include the Family Adoration. This is your opportunity to spend quiet time being present to God so that God can be present to you.
"Adoration outside Holy Mass prolongs and intensifies what has taken place in the liturgical celebration and makes a true and profound reception of Christ possible. I . . . warmly recommend, to Pastors and to all the faithful, the practice of Eucharistic adoration"
— Pope Benedict XVI

“I encourage Christians regularly to visit Christ present in the Blessed
Sacrament, for we are all called to abide in the presence of God.” St. John Paul II
Jesus has made Himself the Bread of Life to give us life. Night and day, He is there. If you really want to grow in love, come back to the Eucharist, come back to that Adoration.
