Annual Baby Shower

Annual Baby Shower Aid for Women of Northern Lake County October 4-11 2020. Pandemics will not deter the people of St. Joseph Parish this year. You will not see the paper cutouts of little feet and teddy bears on the walls of the church or plastic baby bottles for coins and currency in bassinettes during Respect Life Month. This is the year of the “drive by  baby showers” as our alternative. 

During the week of October 4-11, the Food Pantry donation boxes will be turned into gigantic baby bins to accept ‘drive-up’ donations of  diapers, pullups, wipes and powdered formula for our Annual Baby Shower for Aid for Women of Northern Lake County in Gurnee. If shopping is a problem, donations of gift cards or checks made payable to Aid for Women of NLC would be a wonderful alternative to drop to the parish office mail slot.   

Aid for Women has been open during the entire pandemic, but we have serviced our clients only outside of our building.
