Join us as we partake in the Blessing of the Animals on Sunday October 4th at 4 pm at Sunrise Rotary park in remembrance of St. Francis of Assisi and his love of all animals. St. Francis Assisi is remembered for his generosity to the poor and a willingness to minister to the lepers.
Last year, Fr. Trout presided over the blessing, and that event was well attended by dogs. But there were a few honey bees that came in for a blessing and a young man’s turtle. The beauty in our love of animals is that our communication is basic and real. This event is a great way to enjoy the outdoors with other pet owners and get your animals blessed. Come join us.
