Blessing of the Animals

Join us as we partake in the Blessing of the Animals on Sunday October 3th at 4 pm at Sunrise Rotary park in remembrance of St. Francis of Assisi and his love of all animals. St. Francis Assisi is remembered for his generosity to the poor and a willingness to minister to the lepers.

Last year, Fr. Trout presided over the blessing, and it was well attended by cats, dogs, and even a pet turtle. The beauty in our love for animals is that our communication is essential and authentic. Enjoy some time outdoors and meet other pet owners during this annual blessing.
