Join us in prayerful thanksgiving on Saturday, March 19 at 6pm for the thousands of parish priests who have devoted their lives to the Church as well as in praying that more men will answer the promptings of the Holy Spirit to discern their call.
Parishes across Chicago and neighboring dioceses will host a Holy Hour with a historic monstrance. The monstrance was a gift to Cardinal Mundelein from Pope Pius XI for the 1926 International Eucharistic Congress in Chicago—the first Congress to be held in the United States. The monstrance was used in a Eucharistic Procession during the closing ceremony of the congress, which was held at Mundelein Seminary and attended by nearly 800,000 people.
