REUSE-A-SHOE –an opportunity to share
A great way to help save our planet and to provide badly needed footwear to those in need is
to bring your old shoes – any kind of shoe no matter how worn – to the REUSE-A-Shoe event at
St. Joseph Church on September 6-11. The footwear you drop off will be reused or
repurposed and will not end up in a landfill. It’s a win-win. Pope Francis urges us to live more
simply. This includes wasting less and sharing more.
