Solemn Vespers for the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation

All are invited as the Catholic and Greek Orthodox communities of greater Chicagoland join together for an ecumenical service to give thanks for God’s gift of creation and to recognize the conservation efforts of his disciples.

The World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation prayer service will be held at Sts Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church on August 31. Dr. Debjani Ghatak, Loyola University Professor in the School of Environmental Sustainability, will speak on the Science of Climate Change after the service.
