Welcoming the Karolines to St Joseph Church

St Joseph Church is honored to host the Karolines on the first weekend of July.

Please join us in worship as they lead our faith community in song at masses on Saturday  5:00 pm, Sunday 9:00 am and 10:45 Mass.

The Karolines are a group of active youth and young adults of the Ugandan Catholic Community in the Archdiocese of Boston. They are based at St. Mary’s Parish in Waltham, MA.

The Karolines are named after St Charles Lwanga, one of the 24 Uganda Martyrs and the patron saint of African Catholic youths.

The Karolines’ name reflects both their spiritual identity and the image that best promotes the intended mission, to bring more youths closer to God through music, an enriched worship experience and enhance the life of the art and diverse cultural backgrounds of its members, the Church, through the performance of sacred music in its intended settings.
