New Community for the Kingdom groups continue to form as parishioners are responding to the call from friends to participate in compassionate communities to bring about the Kingdom of God.
What’s Next?
If you have not joined a Community for the Kingdom group or formed one, now is the time to start! Small groups composed of individuals or couples, usually 10-12 people, meet regularly in a family home to read, listen, pray, reflect and share ways God’s Word relates to our everyday lives. Groups meet in a host’s or facilitator’s home.
What is a Facilitator?
A facilitator acts as a guide for the small faith group by creating conditions for the group to grow in faith and is mindful that Christ is present. The facilitator, while following the 7-step process, guides the group to have intentional faith conversations in an intimate, prayerful, and respectful atmosphere.
