While not exactly a ministry, the Homily Series is a unique initative led by the Adult Faith Formation Commission. Each weekend during Mass, the homily will focus on a specific theme over a series of weeks. From week to week we build on the theme, which is based on the Scripture Readings, and explore it from different angles. It also includes relevant weekly digital content online including written reflections and journal questions to go deeper into the theme on your own or in a small group.

While all vocations can lead to God, the primary focus of the Vocations Ministry is to generate and support religious vocations for priests, nuns, sisters, deacons, brothers and monks in all religious orders. The St. Joseph Vocations Ministry serves and supports the parish in developing and maintaining an environment that enables people of all ages to hear and be open to the call from God as they discern their life’s vocation. This is accomplished through prayer, communications and the engagement of all members of our faith community.
The Vocations Ministry conducts a weekly hour of Eucharistic Adoration. This beautiful prayer service takes place every Thursday from 3:00 to 4:00 PM in the St. Joseph Church. All parishioners are welcome and encouraged to join the Vocations Ministers in praying for an increase in religious vocations within our parish and throughout the world.
