Get Involved in the Bed Ministry

There are many ways to help in this ministry. The St. Joseph Libertyville is a 501c3 charity and this opens us to get more people involved. We offer the following ways to get involved:

• Donations of Money - A bed costs us $300.00 to produce and deliver. You can sponsor a bed, or even multiple beds. 

• Bedding Donations - We accept NEW Twin Comforters,Sheets and Pillows. We really like the "Bed in A Bag" sets. We have a drop-off site at 130 N. Milwaukee Ave in Libertyville. You can also ship to 121 East Maple Ave. in Libertyville too.

• Build Days - You can come and help to build the beds.  See the calendar for dates and events.

• Delivery Teams - If you are Archdiocese of Chicago Virtus Compliant, you can be part of a team that delivers and sets up the bed in the homes. Please contact Marilyn Williamson (mwilliamson@stjoseph-libertyville.org) for more information on how to become Virtus Compliant.

• Teambuilding - You, your group, your team or your company could sponsor Build Days. Its a great way to give back to the community or participate in team building. Contact Dan Harris for more information.

• Adminstration Team - We need people that want to help manage the the bed requests and managing the paperwork for deliveries. This will be in the Church office or at home. Knowledge of computer, Excel and bilingual knowledge helpful. Contact Dan Harris for more information.
