Jesus gave us a clear mission before he left this earth: to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19-20). He also showed us how much it means to God when people return to His Family:
 

While [the prodigal son] was still a long way off, his father caught sight of him, and was filled with compassion. He ran to his son, embraced him and kissed him..."now we must celebrate and rejoice, because your brother was dead and has come to life again; he was lost and has been found."

The greatest invitation is the invitation we extend to someone to accept God’s saving love, follow Jesus, and join the Church Family. We are each called to extend the Greatest Invitation to others.
