Greetings and blessings to you this Easter season. As you are aware, Memorial Day is always celebrated on the last Monday in May, but this year Memorial Day falls on May 31, which is also the Feast of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The feast liturgically takes the precedence when Memorial Day and the Feast of the Visitation fall on the same day. I wish to let you know that on May 31, we will celebrate the Feast of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary instead of the Memorial Day liturgy. We shall pray for our fallen heroes during Mass and honor them in song after Mass. We invite you to join us to pray for our country and our fallen heroes through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mother and St. Joseph.
