Blessing of the Animals

The Blessing of the Animals took place on Sunday, October 3, 4:00 pm at Sunrise Rotary Park. The weather was beautiful and it was so nice to see so many families with their beloved pets. 

This blessing is in remembrance of St. Francis of Assisi and his love of all animals. St. Francis Assisi is remembered for his generosity to the poor and a willingness to minister to the lepers.
