CLOSING THE BUDGET GAP CHALLENGE The COVID-19 pandemic has had an unprecedented effect on the global health and the global economy. Our parish recognizes families and our community are struggling and in need of support. Your unwavering generosity helps our parish continue to support those in need, our many ministries and the faith formation of our school and religious education students. The demand at our Food Pantry has more than quadrupled since the start of the pandemic.
In the bulletin, you will see our fiscal year-to-date collections, through November 1, are in the red and considerably off of the budgeted amount by $140,890. Each week, this gap widens. Weekly collections are down, $46,396, from actual collections a year ago. Like any household, we have maintained a tight focus on costs and operating expenses.
A generous parishioner has stepped forward and will contribute $5,000 every week that we meet or exceed the budgeted amount. Take advantage of this exciting challenge during the month of December. Join the generous donor who put up this challenge. Donate today but only until December 31. We need your help to meet or exceed the weekly budgeted amount.
Mail or drop off your donations at the parish office. Or you can donate on-line at https://www.givecentral.org/location/181 or text “JOSEPH” to “73256” and follow the prompts.
