May 2, 2021Children’s Faith Formation families couldn’t gather this year under pandemic restrictions to celebrate the annual First Eucharist banquet. Instead, Faith Formation team members brought the banquet to them.
With volunteers’ help, “Communion Banquet Kits” were created, allowing families to pick up kits on May 2 following the 10:45 a.m. drive in Mass until noon. Families took home the kits, which included unconsecrated hosts, a wine glass, grape juice and instructions to practice receiving Jesus properly for their First Eucharist Masses on May 8.
