January 18, 2021Adults preparing to be received fully into the Church at Eastertime met on Zoom with the RCIA team to break open the gospel of John’s account and read his account of the call of the first disciple. They reflected on the words or phrases that stood out for them and what God is saying to them in their faith lives.
The candidates, Jon Kendall, Cayci Packer, Lexi Bolke and Hillary Gallagher all are journeying together with their sponsors, but in different locations. Jon and Cayci are learning Libertyville, while Lexi returned downstate to college for the spring term and Hillary relocated to Florida.
Despite the distances, the team is accompanying them so that all of them will celebrate the sacraments together this spring.
