RCIA community gathers for marriage blessing

Fr. John Kartje, rector at the seminary, worked with the couple to celebrate the blessing ceremony at the grotto to Our Lady of Lourdes on the main campus. Scott, a candidate in the RCIA process, and Carol, his sponsor, were recently married on June 20 in a Catholic ceremony. However, because social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic limited the number of guests who could attend, the couple decided to host special ceremonies and events throughout the summer, inviting different groups who have been a part of their lives to celebrate their union.
