February 14, 2022Father Kartje gave a wonderful presentation on Re-Spect. Re-Spect being to look back, to see again. We were encouraged to consider how we allow God to see us, how we allow the ones we love to be re-spected, and how we need to see ourselves as God sees us.
About 50 women were able to gather for Father Kartje’s presentation, Saturday mass and lunch. It was nice to be together for this morning.
The Women’s Council works to plan spiritual and sometimes social events for the women of Saint Joe’s and Saint Mary’s. If you are interested in joining the women on the council in planning future events, or if you have any suggestions for us to consider for an event please get in touch. We work to make sure we can accommodate as many women as possible in what we will do. It does take some time for some things to come to fruition; we booked this date almost a year ago. We look forward to seeing you at our next event (whatever that will be).
