August 28, 2022We have delivered 165 beds to date for this year, and 948 beds since we began in November of 2018.
Our goal is to hit 1,000 beds delivered by the end of this year.
Currently we are replenishing our bed inventory, doing bed builds every Tuesday evening for the month of August, and into September, from 6 – 8 PM.
We currently have 11 open cases for beds to deliver with 23 beds to be delivered. Once we get the beds built, we plan to start delivering these cases at the end of this week, and next week.
Many of our cases are coming from DCFS, Catholic Charities, School Social Workers, and word of mouth from people who we have delivered beds to. Plus, some have been coming in from the Facebook post about the Bed Ministry from a couple of weeks ago.
