Today we join Pope Francis and Catholics across the world in mourning the death of Pope Benedict XVI who has gone home to the God he served faithfully.

Thank you for your generous support of our parish over the years. As you consider your year-end giving, please note for your gift to be considered for the 2022 tax year, it must be received and/or postmarked by Friday, December 31, 2022. We are grateful for your generosity.

Our parishioners volunteered at the PADS site making beds, bringing dinner and delivering lunches for the 40 people that needed a warm meal and a place to sleep.

Starting mid-January, the parish is restarting Children's Liturgy of the Word. We are looking for volunteers to play and share faith with our little ones.

The theme of this year's Annual Catholic Appeal is Making all things new...God's promise and our responsibility. We are called to embrace God's promise of making all things new and to embrace our own responsibility to work with God's plan.

On Saturday, December 17th 28 volunteers delivered 91 beds to families in need

In observance of Christmas, the parish office will be closed Friday, December 23 through Monday, December 26. Merry Christmas!

On December 11th, the St. Joseph's social justice commission and parishioners donated, collected and delivered over 2,000 gifts to agencies and families in the area!

We are excited for Children's Liturgy of the Word to return to 9:00 am Masses. We need volunteers to assist with the return of this incredible ministry.

Our teens delivered Christmas Cheer to the residents at Promedica Nursing Home in Libertyville.

As the year ends, please consider making a gift or increasing your giving to support our parish. Your donations help to support our school, children's faith formation, ministries, programming and operations of our parish.

Jesus said to them in reply, “Go and tell John what you hear and see: the blind regain their sight, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor have the good news proclaimed to them. And blessed is the one who takes no offense at me.”

Troop 60 Scouts had a busy month learning about their community, helping their community and enjoying the outdoors.

We are looking for 2-3 adults that would be interested in overseeing the teens at the food pantry on Sunday mornings.
