Aid for Women of Northern Lake County Celebrating 40 years of providing education, assistance and resources to women who are pregnant, plan to be pregnant or have had children recently.
On Sunday, February 26th, Catechumens, Candidates, and sponsors were at Holy Name Cathedral for the Rite of Election. Congratulations to those who are officially Catechumen and Candidates to receive the Sacraments at Easter Vigil!
At the start of February, Fr. Trout shared that our fiscal year-to-date collections were $100,000 less than the same time last year. In one week, you responded. Donations came in and now the shortfall is only $76,860 as of February 11th.

Angel of Hope Painting Night at St. Joe's-created masterpieces of art and was a fun social event. Every painting of the Angel was so different. Thank you Lindee K. and her daughter for teaching us how to paint.

After a three year hiatus, Trivia Night was BACK in-person on February 11th! Over 200 people enjoyed one of the most fun nights of the year. The competition was fierce -- both for Trivia and in the Table Theme contest. Congratulations to the Party Crashers for winning Trivia and to the 80's Heroes for winning the Table Theme. Please join us in congratulating this year's Golden Rose award recipient, Sheila Tucker. The Golden Rose Awards were presented to the candidates on Feb. 5, 2023, by the Most Reverend Jeffrey Grob, Bishop of Vicariate 1, at a special Mass at 3pm at St. Mary of the Annunciation, Mundelein. Recipients of this award have shown leadership, portrayed spirituality, and gone above and beyond in a service project.
