Due to the pandemic, all PADS homeless shelter sites were closed last winter and our clients have been housed in hotels since March, 2020. At this time, it appears that we will continue to house some clients in hotels, specifically families with young and health issues. Our hope is that we will be able to open the shelter sites in October for those who are vaccinated and healthy.
Members of the St. Joseph community took advantage of the long weekend to tend to some gardening at the Lake County Poor Farm burial ground, located behind Winchester House.
