In October, the number of visits to our pantry exceeded 1,500. Through October 2022, we have had 12,835 visits. While we are funded by St. Joseph Church, we rely heavily on your support and are always grateful for your response in your donations to aid us in our mission of feeding people in need.
In September, our number of guest visits at St. Joseph Food Pantry was 1,402. This number reflects the climate we currently live in of high inflation. We appreciate all the support we receive from our parishioners and community in the form of financial and food donations.
At St. Joseph Food Pantry, we try our best to keep our shelves well stocked for our guests. With the increasing number of guests and inflation, the task is not always easy.

We are continuing to see high numbers of guests at our food pantry. We are grateful to be able to help so many people with your help. Please know that for every $1 you donate, we can purchase $8 of groceries from Northern IL Foodbank.
Nationwide, the number of people using Food Pantries is increasing. This is due to inflation and rising prices of groceries. In April alone, we had 1,353 visits to our pantry. The most effective way to help us and our guests is to give a financial donation.
St. Joseph Youth Ministry is hosting a Giveaway for the guests of the food pantry on Friday, June 17, and we need your gently used children's items! Donations can be dropped off at the food pantry between June 4-12.
