On Wednesday, we welcomed 18 new weekday altar servers

We are looking for YOUTH assistants, 7th grade through high school.  This is a great opportunity to earn service hours while attending Sunday Mass.

If you are a people person with a kind, compassionate heart and good communication skills, perhaps joining the Bereavement Ministry is the calling for you.

Children’s Liturgy of the Word returned at 9:00 am Mass on October 1.  Children's Liturgy of the Word is an opportunity for children in Grades PK-2 to celebrate the Liturgy of the Word in an age-appropriate way at ALL 9:00am Masses. 

Adult leaders and youth assistants are needed during the 9am Mass on Sundays to assist with this ministry.

Before recommending any changes to the weekend mass schedule, obtaining feedback from St. Joseph parishioners during the review process is vitally important. We’d appreciate you taking 5 minutes to complete this short, anonymous survey.

While attendance at our weekend Masses has slowly increased, we are still tracking below pre-pandemic levels. With this in mind, a committee has been formed by Father Trout to review the weekend Mass schedule and make a recommendation for potential changes by this fall.

It might be time to think about preplanning a funeral. A bereavement minister can meet with you either in person, on the phone or via email to help you through this simple process.

The baptismal garment ministry is looking for volunteers to cut out and to hem. All you need is a sewing machine with a simple straight stitch.

Consider committing one hour every week as a Eucharistic Adorer!

Word Day for Consecrated Life is celebrated on Thursday, February 23 and in parishes this coming weekend. The Dominican Sisters of Mary Mother of the Eucharist share their secret in their reflection.

Can you see Christ in the Crowd? It’s a challenging question. John the Baptist does it so boldly in the Gospel today. John was actively on the lookout for the Son of God. He knew to look because he was in tune with God’s call, God’s voice, in his life.

We are excited for Children's Liturgy of the Word to return to 9:00 am Masses. We need volunteers to assist with the return of this incredible ministry.

There  will be no 6:30 am daily Mass on November 24th & 25th in observance of Thanksgiving.

Get to know our visiting priest, Father Ternan Monteiro, who has been presiding at our Masses this year. Come on Sunday, December 4 after the 5pm Mass to hear his presentation on approaching the holidays with Grace and Truth.

Our Ministers of Care visit those who are ill, homebound or handicapped. They bring Holy Communion to their homes, hospital or in area nursing homes.

We are thrilled to have Altar Servers back at 8:30 am daily Masses.

Thank you to all of the parishioners, families and friends who participated in this year’s All Souls’ Mass. It was a beautiful Mass of Commemoration celebrating the lives of those who have gone before us in the past twelve months.

November is a time for remembering and praying for our loved ones who have gone before us. “May perpetual light shine upon them.”
